My First Farmer Market

I know that I had been dissapear from blogging and art lately, but my business had been keeping me a little bit busy.

I participated last week on my first farmers market and it was a great experience, what I enjoyed the most was the contact with so many lovely and beatiful people, I felt like breathing a new air, like living in another new world, the farmers market atmosphere it's just increible, I love the all natural and eco friendly atmosphere it was in there.I had a lot of fun and enjoy it so much!

Also I'm trying to finally publish my website and my new eshop, so this and keeping my gourmet food production running are taking me a lot of time, but not that much to share with you the pictures taken last week at the farmers market!

I wish you a wonderful week!

I can't stop..

I'm suppost to be making this backgrounds to make my second cooking recipes journal, but I can't not stop doing them. I enjoy some much, being creative, using whatever I found near me, that keep me going. At least I have thousands of recipes so I guess someday I will use them, in the meantime..I'll continue enjoying my journal.

Before my recycled trash can was always FULL, now barely I can fill half ot it!! Everytime I'm going to drop something, on my way to the can..my imagination start flying, and start finding some many ideas with that piece..that I decide to keep it.

Some of these backgrounds I'm posting today, were made on empty extra olive oil cans, empty pasta boxes and in an empty delicious donuts box

WHERE MY ART'S INSPIRATION STARTED

I will love to share with you where my art journaling love and passion started. I think every step we make in our lifes have a reason to be, I really don´t know how I turned out finding this beatiful and inspired blog, since I always was focused on my cooking and all themes related with food, cook and specially ITALIAN cooking.

But as I do with cooking where I just start experimenting, blending, mixing different flavors, ingredients, herbs and techniques, I found out how I could blend this new acquired passion Thanks to the wonderful Julie at her BALZERDESIGNS blog.

So I start creating my art journals pages where now I just create with them journal cooking, recipes, and all my experience in my cooking journal.

I hope you find this blog as inpisrational as I did!

ITALIAN CROUTONS

I had been (and going to be) a little busy to post on my blog, since I just start my new etsy shop online, (www.etsy.com/shop/altacucina) and now I'm building my new webpage http://www.altacucinaitalia.com/.

I´m trying to blend not only aromatic herbs, but also my journaling art and now also "technology" (with all these online features that are now available and great to do some marketing to your business).

It hadn't been easy, but I'm having so much fun with all the process, and this it what matters, that every single thing we do in our live we enjoy doing it!

I  want to share with you this recipe, that I just blend in my cooking journal, for my webpage.

Give it a try..it's delicious and so easy to make, I promise it will just light up your salad when you add some of this croutons to it.

Don´t forget to stop buying my new etsy shop and my new website, and let me know what do you think about them, and of course how you did with this recipe!

Have a wonderful week!

Have a wonderful weekend,

ROSEMARY GARLIC RUB

Today we decided to eat outside, it was a beatiful saturday, and looking at my recipe journals, I found this rub, so I marinate my chicken with this rub at left it in the fridge for two hours, then we grilled and it was DELICIOUS! As a side dish I made a big fresh mixed salad with rucola, roman lettuce and pomodorini (cherry tomatoes) with an Italian vinagrette dressing.

LOVING JARS

After being busy, producing my infused oils and italian seasoning blends for sale, I could not handle to stop and giving me a little time to have fun and enjoy the moment.

It's was hard not to do it, with all these beatiful glass jar I have on my hands, so my imagination start flying and while I was finding some wonderful ideas, I decide to take some pictures of it to share it with you.

I think jars could be so helpful to the people that buy the products because after they consume them, they will have beatiful jars to storage anything, to use them as picture frames, and so on.

If you have any other ideas of using them, please share it with us!

Some Backgrounds from my Cooking Journal

I had been having fun creating my backgrounds for my cooking journal, the problem now is that I love them so much that I don´t want to ruin them with my awful handwriting writing my recipes on them, also I'm kind of "scared" (?? might be this the right word?) because while writing the recipes on the top of them, I don´t know if they will fit, if the color I used to write will look ok,

so..do you have any ideas?

Hoping you have a wonderful long weekend! & happy 4th!!
